Ceiling

Definition

The maximum output level permitted by a limiter. Set below 0 dBFS to prevent digital clipping, particularly intersample peaks that can occur during format conversion or streaming encoding.

In Simple Terms

The maximum volume a limiter will allow through. Set it a bit below the absolute max (like -1 dBTP) so your music doesn't distort when streaming platforms convert it to MP3 or AAC.
