dBFS (Decibels Full Scale)
Definition
A measurement unit for digital audio levels, where 0 dBFS represents the maximum possible level. All practical signal levels are expressed as negative values below this ceiling.

A way to measure volume inside your computer, where 0 is the absolute maximum. Everything you see on your DAW meters is measured in dBFS. Stay below 0 to avoid distortion.
