Bounce

Definition

The process of rendering or exporting an audio mix, stem, or session to a standalone audio file. Also referred to as "export" or "print."

In Simple Terms

Exporting your mix from the software into an actual audio file — a WAV, AIFF, or MP3. This is how your song leaves the DAW and becomes something you can send, upload, or distribute.
